Please note that someone waiting for you in a corner simply when you were rushing in doesn't count as a wall hack.Ģ: Hours of CS:GO and other CS Games. What I've mentioned is just a list of factors to take the first steps and I'll put them in according to order of importance:ġ: Replaying match footage and looking closely at the rounds through your CS:GO matches tab. No you can't just look at one factor and say this person is a hacker. So after reading the comments, there has been some confusion on how to weight in your decision and the things to look at. Grieving and reporting good players only adds to the work for overwatch teams so make an informed decision the next time you accuse someone for hacking. You just have to take the first step to identify one correctly. ![]() ![]() So you can be rest assured that hackers who get reported are in good hands. The decision of a CS:GO ban comes from several overwatch members, their hours, ranks and experience decide the weight of their vote. Everytime you report a player for hacking the report is stacked up in steams system and then passed onto the growing community of overwatch members to assess and submit a decision. The overwatch members are community members of CS:GO who have been playing CS for years and have thousands of hours of competitive gaming experience on official CS:GO servers. A hacker who uses undectable hacks that VAC can not detect will always take time to get banned and will depend on how fast the CS:GO overwatch members go through the case. Reporting the player every round through a game helps overwatch members go over footage of the whole game easily. Really depends how many times the player was reported. On average it can take anywhere between 1 week to a month for an account to get banned. It takes time for hackers and their accounts to get banned. For the purpose of CS:GO its always better to do both if you absolutely sure of a person hacking. You can report them directly from the score board overlay or head on to their profile and report them. Now that you know how to identify a hacker, its just as easy to report them. Smart hackers tend to keep private profiles to hide their game hours They will also have a no "years of service" badge in their profile.Ĥ- Private Profiles, theres nothing wrong with having a private profile but it does raise some concerns when people are trying to hide information. ![]() Someone who uses steam alot won't want to risk their game collection therefore hackers prefer to maintain seperate accounts just for using hacks. Unfortunately though it wont tell you what it was for, some players have bans for using scripts in steam stores and bad trades but their in game hours will help give you a clue.ģ- Game library and Inventory, most hackers will usually only have one or two games in their account and almost no items in their inventory. Someone with 20 hours on CS:GO but 1000+ hours on CS 1.6 or Source can also be good at the game, so make sure to check that too.Ģ- VAC Bans, if you see a player with several VAC ban you can tell he has a habit of hacking or beating the system, the VAC ban counter on the profile lets you see how many bans the player has received and how many days it has been since the last ban. Pro's will usually have 1000+ hours on CS:GO. Hackers will usually have a very low number of hours, anywhere between 10-70 hours at the most. Now you can easily view their steam profile and look for the following factors:ġ- Number of hours on CS:GO ,anyone with about 300 hours on CS:GO can play fairly well. ** This is just a tentative list of options for hacks in FPS games, ghost doesnt work anymore as far as I've been told and I haven't seen it personally except the odd glitch here in there.Ĭheck their Steam Profile While in game you can press Tab then right click on the overlay score box to be able to access some commands like below. Teleporting and ghost Hack : Players can either quickly sprint to locations which is close to teleporting or they can ghost which lets them walk through walls.Recoil Hack: Gives the players guns a zero recoil, making sure every bullet goes where its supposed to.ESP - Shows the player all enemy stats such as remaining health, walking or sprinting as well as increased sound perception. ![]() Wall hack : Ability to look through walls and smoke and intercept grenade paths (most common one and also hard to catch if used smartly). Its probably the hardest thing to spot (thanks to recyclawps for this) It works best when you hold angles with your xhair at head height, or when you awp. Trigger Bot - triggerbot automatically shoots when your xhair is on a target, so you never miss.Aim Bot - Ability to auto aim or aim assist and get headshots or an unusually high accuracy round after round.I've listed some of the common ones I'm aware of : Depending on the hack being used, a hacker has access to several perks.
